Arai rain visor type CK 6 color yellow is the visor to use during participation in karting competitions. Original Arai visor equipped with an inner lens to prevent condensation during humid conditions and keep your vision optimal.
When the air you breathe out is warmer than the outside temperature, condensation will form on a cold surface, in this case the visier. A fogged up visor is not only very disturbing but also creates a dangerous situation during karting.
Lens is fixed by silicone rubber which is located on the condensation lens. The lens is stuck to the inside of the visor in this way. On the lens there is a silicone rim around the lens which creates an air chamber between the condensation lance and the viewer. This air chamber can be compared to the air space between double glazing. The effect of this is that the temperature difference between the inside and outside of the helmet is kept to a minimum so that the inside of the visier has no cold surface where condensation can form.
The lens is made of an organic material with the ability to absorb moisture. This property ensures that vapour does not adhere to the entire surface, but that the moisture is wicked away from these vapours in tiny pathways.
