Description

Alpinestars Rain and Winter Glove Kartsport

Alpinestars Rain and Winter Glove Kartsport called TEMPEST the ideal gloves for use during winter and rainy days to keep hands at temperature. Also suitable to wear during mild cold. Extreme grip due to anti-slip in the palm side. Available in various sizes.

Protecting your hands from the cold and rain is of course nice and comfortable, but there is a safety aspect. Because your hand is protected against these weather conditions, you can always keep on steering and shifting gears. Chilled and frozen hands cause poor blood circulation for the body. So a winter glove during karting is a must.

Strongly recommended to wear a rain coverall and rain shoes during rainy weather. A water repellent rain coverall stops the rain, but in extreme rain the water can still seep in and so you still get wet. With a waterproof rain coverall the seams are also taped to keep you completely dry.

Why is the use of the right gloves so important?

If you don't have the right grip on the handlebar, you'll soon notice that your fingers are dormant. This is related to the pinching of the nerves. Too much pressure on the palm of the hand can also lead to pain in the hands and arms. These are reasons to think of gloves that have the right padding on the inside of the palm to protect the sensitive areas of the hand.

To determine the right size for your glove it is important to measure the dominant hand, i.e. are you right-handed than right-handed, are you left-handed than left-handed.

  • Measure over the widest point of your hand over the knuckles, excluding the thumb.
