The Alpinestars fastening system, based on the Moto GP shoes, allows the racing driver to fit the shoe tightly around the foot. In addition, the latest Tech 1 Z V2 contains an elastic collar at the top of the shoe with a printed design. This ensures that there is no friction at the ankle, and the racing shoe also gives more support to the foot and ankle.
