If you have your own existing look or want something completely designed from scratch, then the Helmet Injection Own Design is definitely your favorite. Based on your ideas, a digital design will be preliminary. From once the digital design is approved we get to work airbrushing your future helmet.

The cost of the Helmet Injection custom design formula varies depending on your requirements:

• number of colours, shape
• complexity of the image,
• combination of paints (polished, opaque, metallized, beaded, glitter, pastel, fluorescent, etc.).
• chrome, for your information when applying the chrome the helmet shell is NOT removed so factory warranty and optimal protection is maintained. Surcharge of chrome is standard €600 incl VAT.
• additional accessories such as spoilers, rubbers, ... as you wish.

Logos, caricatures or special texts can always be added.

Graphic digital design

We strive to create a unique helmet design, it is highly recommended to save some examples of helmets you like in color or effects on your phone or computer. Based on the examples we will be able to quickly determine which style of helmet design suits you best and we can put forward the ideas and personalities during the realization of the drawing, thus guaranteeing an exclusive design for each pilot. As soon as the digital drawing is approved by you, we will proceed to the next step: airbrushing, also called spraying the helmet.

Airbrush

This is where the process starts to apply the digital design to the helmet and turn it into a unique piece, your jewel of a helmet with the necessary perfection.

How is the airbrush process going?

Sanding, masking, spraying, applying effects, finishing logos or cartoon with a finishing coat. This can be a gloss varnish or matt varnish.

Speedwear only uses top quality products. This is the only way to ensure that each helmet retains its approval and safety features. Moreover, after years of use, a helmet should have the same appearance as it would have just been sprayed.

The color possibilities are endless, it starts with classic colors to metallic colors, pearl, glitter, fluo, changing, chrome and much more. To ensure a long life through the years and a very high resistance, all our work is protected with scratch-resistant transparent ultra. We also pay much attention to the weighing factor. In world like motorsport and karting, where every gram can make the difference, we strive to limit as much as possible but limited weight gain by personalizing the helmet.

Delivery time

The time required for airbrushing the helmet varies depending on the complexity of the chosen design and in relation to the time of year. It usually borders on five - six weeks from the time approval is given by the customer regarding the digital drawing.
