Lateral, double injection, TPU sectiion for rear, outer, foot protection with hard compound uppeer section for security and buckle mounting and softer lower section for flexibility. Outer and inner ankle protection is given by innovative, double injected, TPU section with different Durometer (hardness) values and thicknesses to allow protection and flexibility, all in one section. These protectors are covered by the leather outer skin. Unique, single piece, medial outer leather panel, covers the inner leg, heel and inner fore-foot to give a very clean smooth surface for contact with the bike. Ankle is protected by a wrap around extension of the medial boot surface panel with two-layer EVA foam, shaped for fit, feel and comfort. Toe-box is re-enforced for protection and covered by the boot's medial outer panel. Shin protection, built into the boot structure and hidden below the outer surface leather. Three, ergonomically shaped aluminium buckles, providing easy, comfortable and secure snap closure with micro-adjustable, memory, straps for adjustability. The buckle attachment points feature a unique replaceable bridge to guide and secure the strap affectively. Wide entry aperture for convenience with Velcro upper closure flap to allow broad ranging calf fit adjustment. Padded gaiter to insulate the boot inner and foot against the elements. Wide flex bellows in Achilles and in-step to give flexibility and comfort both on and off the bike. Mesh inner liner for comfort and breathability. Out sole is triped injected rubber, giving three different compounds in the same section for ultimate feel, durability and grip. Hard comound pedal and shifter inserts for riding comfort and protection and softer heel and fore-foot sections for grip and shock absorption. New lasting technology gives a close, comfortable, fit while an over-injected Poly Propelene (PP) mid-sole gives full foot re-enforcement from heel to toe for safety. Ultra-soft full length, leather flexible accordion expansion throat from toe to upper shin gives excellent fit and comfort which, combined with a wrap around Achilles flex panel, allows easy and smooth forward and back flex. Inner sole features a shock absorption layer to promote riding comfort. Full grain leather, mid height upper with calf expansion insert to allow comfort and wide ranging fit. Heel and toe sections are reinforced for protection and support. Inner (medial) side zip closure with integrated, elastic, flex panel gives secure and close fit. Top grain leather shin flap ensures proper closure and width adjustment. Outer rubber sole is specially formulated for grip, durability, feel and comfort and is profiled to wrap around the side of the foot for better abrasion protection. Molded mid sole incorporates a steel shank for greater support and protection.
